Otherwise, stay away until they update the mod, or put up a PvE server.
So if you want Fallout to be a cheap and broken version of Rust or something similar, you're in luck. But people attack you even there, as this screenshot shows: The only "safe area" in this mod is Goodsprings. This is the official VaultMP page for the Nexus New Vegas. Also, if you use any form of Power Armor, the griefers will use it as justification as to why they're stalking, harassing and bullying you. The mod is more like a wannabe Rust where people kill each other for the heck of it, and don't care if someone doesn't want to take part in PVP. You lose your things when you die, and you lose items seemingly at random from time to time.įor those of you who expect a Fallout like experience, you'll be disappointed.
It can be fun, but don't expect to keep any progress. It's in beta right now, and it's fairly unstable. There's now a multiplayer mod available for Fallout New Vegas, for those who might be interested.
